Welcome to Snap Tally! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Snap Tally mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by ArborlogicAI Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Snap Tally is a travel utility designed to help users digitize, organize, and translate travel receipts. The Service utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies to identify text, categorize expenses, and provide translations of purchased items.

2. AI Disclaimer and Accuracy

Please read this section carefully. While we strive for high accuracy, the Service relies on AI and machine learning models which may occasionally produce errors ("hallucinations"), misinterpret text, or provide inaccurate translations.

No Financial or Legal Advice: The data extracted and organized by the Service is for personal reference only. It should not be used as the sole basis for official tax filings, expense reimbursements, or legal accounting without manual verification.

Verification: You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all data (prices, item names, dates) processed by the App before relying on it. We are not liable for any financial loss resulting from inaccuracies in the AI analysis.

3. Acceptable Use and Fair Usage Policy

To maintain the quality of the Service for all users and manage the operational costs associated with AI processing, we enforce a strict Fair Usage Policy.

You agree NOT to:

  • Excessive Use: Submit an unreasonably high volume of requests that exceeds normal human usage patterns (e.g., bulk processing receipts for third parties or commercial scale data entry).
  • Automated Access: Use bots, scrapers, scripts, or any automated means to access the Service or upload images.
  • Malicious Inputs: Upload images that are not receipts (e.g., random photos, prohibited content) specifically to exhaust system resources or test the AI's limits.
  • Reverse Engineering: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or AI models used in the Service.

Violation of Policy: We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns. If we detect activity that violates this policy, we may throttle your processing speed, temporarily suspend your account, or permanently terminate your access without prior notice.

4. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Intellectual Property

Our Rights: The Service, including its interface, code, graphics, and proprietary AI workflows, is the property of ArborlogicAI Co., Ltd. and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the photos (receipts) you upload. However, by uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process the images solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and improving our AI models (anonymized data only).

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our processing of your personal data and uploaded receipts is governed by our Privacy Policy here. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

7. Subscriptions and Payments (If applicable)

If Snap Tally offers a paid subscription or "Pro" tier:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID/Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • We reserve the right to modify our pricing or subscription models with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArborlogicAI Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service;
  • Any inaccuracies in the AI translation or data extraction;
  • Any unauthorized access to our servers.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
