SNAP TALLY (provided by ArborlogicAI Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, process, and protect your information when you use this application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information (Apple ID)

To provide cloud synchronization and account management, we collect minimal information via Apple ID:

  • User ID (Identifier): Used for identity verification and API quota management.
  • Email: Used for account verification and important notifications.

1.2 Receipt Processing and Data Retention Standards

Original Photos: We Do Not Store Them

Receipt images you upload or capture are temporarily transmitted to the cloud for AI recognition only. Once recognition is complete and results are returned to your device, image files are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. We do not back up, view, or use your original photos for any other purpose.

Text Data: De-identification Processing

To continuously improve recognition accuracy, we retain de-identified text data within specific periods.

  • Processing Method: This data is fully anonymized and decoupled from you; it cannot be traced back to any specific user.
  • Sensitive Information Filtering: The system automatically filters out sensitive personal information that may appear on receipts.

1.3 Device and Analytics Data

We collect anonymous device information (e.g., iOS version, crash reports) to fix bugs and optimize the user experience.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only within the following legal scopes:

  • Core Service Operation: Processing your receipt images to provide accounting and translation results.
  • Service Optimization and Analysis: We use de-identified data to train AI models, fix bugs, and conduct internal or public aggregate data analyses (e.g., system performance reports or market observations without PII) to continuously enhance product value.
  • Security Protection: Detecting abnormal logins or abusive behavior.

3. Third-Party Partners

To maintain service operations, we only collaborate with the following trusted infrastructure providers:

  • AI and Cloud Technology Providers:We use enterprise-grade cloud services (such as OpenAI Enterprise or Google Cloud) for image processing. Your original images are removed from the server immediately after processing. According to our agreements, providers have no right to use your data for their model training.

4. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may permanently delete your account-associated data (User ID and Email) at any time via the "Delete Account" feature in the app settings. Once deleted, your API quotas and cloud records will be cleared.

5. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Significant changes will be notified via the App. Continued use of the service constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
