Ginza Privacy Policy

1. Asset Data Stored on Your Device

Ginza is designed primarily around local storage. Ledgers, asset categories, asset records, amounts, quantities, prices, notes, custody locations, snapshots, settlements, and inventory history that you create are primarily stored on your device. You do not need an ArborlogicAI account to use Ginza.

We do not upload this complete asset data to ArborlogicAI servers to maintain a cloud asset database.

2. Backup, Export, and Restore

Ginza lets you choose to export a ledger as a backup file or import data from a file you select. A backup may contain assets, amounts, notes, snapshots, and related ledger records. After export, the storage location, sharing, retention, and security of that file depend on the device location or third-party storage service you choose.

3. Market Quotes and Third-Party Data Sources

To provide reference prices for stocks, cryptocurrencies, and foreign currencies, Ginza may make direct network requests to third-party market data services, including the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Yahoo Finance, CNBC, CoinGecko, Coinbase, Binance, and ExchangeRate-API.

These requests may include a stock symbol, currency code, or cryptocurrency code needed to obtain a quote. Those services may also receive technical connection data such as your IP address, User-Agent, and request time through normal internet communication. Ginza does not send your holding quantity, ledger amount, asset notes, or complete ledger contents as market-quote request parameters.

4. Smart Report and Apple Private Cloud Compute

When you choose to generate a Smart Report and the feature is supported by your device and system, Ginza may use Apple Foundation Models and Private Cloud Compute to process a summary. The prompt is designed to contain anonymous aggregate statistics such as asset counts, holding percentages, and custody-location percentages.

The Smart Report prompt does not include asset names, stock or currency symbols, ledger names, notes, or actual asset amounts. If Private Cloud Compute is unavailable, Ginza uses a deterministic local summary instead. Apple services are subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

5. Advertising, Consent Management, and Google AdMob

Ginza is a free App and may display advertising on selected screens using Google AdMob. We use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising and privacy consent choices where required by applicable law.

Depending on your location, consent choices, and device settings, Google advertising services may process device and App information, IP address, ad impressions and interactions, consent status, and advertising identifiers where available and permitted. Ginza does not provide your ledgers, asset names, asset amounts, or notes to Google as ad-request parameters for ad selection.

Where applicable, you can manage choices through Google's consent message. When UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, Ginza also provides an Advertising Privacy Settings option in the App so you can review or change your choices later.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Ginza's core asset-management features do not depend on browser cookies. Third-party advertising SDKs may use on-device storage, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies in accordance with their service design and applicable requirements to deliver, measure, or limit advertising. Availability depends on device permissions, consent choices, and applicable law.

7. Data Sharing and Retention

We do not sell or rent the asset data you create in Ginza. Data is exchanged with third-party services only as technically necessary for the functions described in this policy. Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or remove the App. Backup files you export are under your control. Retention of technical data received by third-party services is governed by their respective policies.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You can add, edit, or delete locally stored asset data within Ginza, and you can remove the App to delete its on-device data. In regions where advertising consent is required, you can use the Google UMP privacy options exposed by Ginza to manage or withdraw applicable advertising choices.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that provides specific data-protection rights, you may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other applicable rights concerning data that we actually control.

9. Data Security

Because Ginza's primary asset data is stored on your device, its security also depends on protections you use, such as a screen lock, device encryption, operating-system updates, and backup settings. If you store or share a backup with a third-party service, that file is also subject to the security measures and terms of that service.

10. Changes to This Policy

If Ginza adds account login, cloud synchronization, additional analytics, new advertising uses, or another feature that materially changes how data is processed, we will update this policy and its last-updated date.
